If no other trend survives the move from '08 to '09, chances are, the baby boom will. Last year was a flurry of Hollywood pregnancies--let's take a look back on some of them:
Halle Berry

Having recently given birth to her first child, Nahla Ariela Aubrey, with model and boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey in March, she was obviously pregnant again by the fall of 2008. As usual, Halle Berry is gorgeous and smiling, and we wish her the best on her second go-round.
Amy Poehler
Funny lady Amy Poehler an
nounced her pregnancy in April of 2008, in tandem with her film Baby Mamma reaching No.1 in the box offices. Also having played the role of a mother in Mean Girls, I’m sure we can all hope that her own child will end up nothing like Regina George!
Jessica Alba

n of 2007, Jessica Alba, was another on a looong list of celebs that added a new member to her family in 2008. Honor Marie, the daughter of Alba and Cash Warren, who helped direct her ion Fantastic Four, arrived in June—just in time for summer fun!
Nicole Kidman
In the beginning of 2008, the classically beautiful Nicole Kidman announced that she was “thrilled” to be pregnant again. Why? Because although it will be Kidman’s third child, it will be her first with hubby Keith Urban. And Kidman continues to prove that pregnancy no longer means frumpy doilies and burlap sacks by looking elegant and classy with her extra passenger in tow.
Niki Taylor
Textbook supermodel Niki Taylor revealed that she is pregnant in late 2008 and also thrilled! It’s bound to be a fashionable and gorgeous pregnancy, so we’ll watch her style as her bump orbs outward!
Cate Blanchett
Although Cate Blanchett, our favorite Hollywood Aussie, announced pregnancy in late 2007, we loved to track her mommy style in 2008. Look for her to stylishly grace the red carpet in a few days at the 2009 Golden Globes, possibly after visiting the Boom Boom Room where Boujie Baby will be front and center!

Tori Spelling
Whether or not you personally endorse bikinis for expecting mothers, you’ve to give it to Tori Spelling of 90210—you can tell she feels great! She is expecting her third child, she announced in October 2008, and will undoubtedly use this experience as more fodder for her clothing line. Accessory divas unite!
Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez has been a fashion muse for years, boasting an unparalleled repertoire of styles and the ability to successfully change it up on a whim, and we got an opportunity to see her personal style accommodate pregnancy in 2008.
Giada de Laurentiis
A switch from the typical celebrity starlets, TV chef Giada de Laurentiis, also became a mom in 2008, giving birth to daughter Jade Marie. Not fiercely paparizzi-ed like others on the list, this happy family photo is a charming breath of fresh air, and we hope the best for her and all of our other moms in the new year!
Ashlee Simpson
The youngster on the list, Ashlee Simpson (Wentz) with husband Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, confirmed pregnancy with US Weekly back in April of 2008. Recovering nicely from her SNL debacle and an overshadowing big sis, Ashlee Simpson is all grown-up and expecting VERY soon! Once her baby is born, we may very well see her nestling bottles in her Boujie Baby bags!
Angelina Jolie
No celebrity pregnancy blog would be complete without an Angelina
appearance. Possibly the master of the maxi-dressed pregnancy, Angelina Jolie flipped it on its head in March 2008 with this green Max Azria masterpiece. Always beautiful (and always pregnant, it may seem), she was still a style maven, adding twins to her family of four children.
